The new ultra-high-strength hot-rolled multiphase steels CH-W® 700Y950T and CH-W® 750Y950T offer maximum weight-saving potential and maximum service life in the chassis. The chassis grades with a strength of almost 1,000 megapascals and optimized hole expansion allow not only a significant weight reduction but also high fatigue strength for complex chassis parts. In addition, high yield strength values of the new grade CH-W® 750Y950T with reserves in elongation at fracture ensure high deformation resistance – the best prerequisite for use in crash-relevant components such as body-in-white (BiW) components and bumpers. Now also available as HR750Y950T-CP in accordance with the VDA 239-100, issue 05/2024.
